Choral masterpieces in the Cathedral, talented teenagers in the Great Hall, literary greats at the Guildhall and a big band dance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain... the 13th annual Winchester Festival promises a diverse feast of more than 30 musical, literary, theatrical and visual arts events across the city from 9-18 July

The literary programme ranges from history and futurology to social commentary, biography and autobiography.
