Outdoor performance is an exciting and challenging forum for the scriptwriter, where you can take your work to thousands of people and where chance and dramatic action collide.
During this interactive workshop, Damian will explore
- What kind of stories and subjects can work in this realm
- How to liberate the writing process to work in conjunction with visual forms of performance
- How to create dialogue with the audience and how to take the public with you
- How to give the audience a role in the story and involve them in the action
- How to create an intimate communication, emotional performance and and empathitic relationship between actors/characters and audiences in large scale ourtdoor performance.

This supportive and informative course is espcially planned for those who have begun to write articles, short stories or a first novel. Jack will explore the route to becoming a published writer. The activities will include how to start out. choosing which genre, research techniques, the first page, scene setting, dialogue, presentation and the importance of the first approach to agents and publishers.
